Personal summary

I am a former tv producer, editor and vfx artist from NYC who created my own online business english training company, from the ground up in Taiwan, and have written self-designed instructional materials based on 6 years of experience in NYC as a television producer combined with 7 years ESL teaching experience in Taipei. I used them to train Asian, European and Middle Eastern clients to conduct meetings, presentations, and interviews as well as performing copywriting and email editing. I also tutor private clients in test preparation for the SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, and GEPT. Projects include semiconductor engineering, chat-bot design, and business trip prep. I have written and published 4 books related to business english training, critical thinking and test preparation and taught over 19,000 students in 6 years, achieving a 50% sales rate for trial lessons as an independent consultant. I successfully navigated my tiny company through the COVID-era online transition. After losing my entire, 20-count, face-to-face client base during the COVID outbreak in spring 2020, I restructured my business online and rebuilt my client base by implementing Facebook/ TikTok/IG/Meetups-based social media marketing strategies to achieve an online client base of 60 active full time corporate clients. I also interviewed, trained and mentored other teachers to design their marketing strategy, conduct sales, and hit personal growth targets. Projects include building a chatbot for ESun bank, email and proposal writing for an international pharmaceutical company, writing strategy and editing for Bitmark (blockchain), presentation editing for First Page (SEO), safety for TSMC, training public speaking, negotiation, and customer service roles. Clients include Amazon, Oracle, Shopee, Google, Foodpanda, DBS Bank, Intel, Google, Japan Airlines, Texas Instruments, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, BMW. In May 2022 I was invited by a peer to perform a guest lecture about corporate negotiation english for the iMBA program at the prestigious National Sun Yat Sen University School of Management in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
