Hughes has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Change Management Specialist. This position supports the Network Operations Organization and would be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD. Responsibilities: Assist in change control duties for the North American Division Network Operations Group Develop modernized change control policies, training, and documentation in conjunction with the managers of the Network Operations technical staff Coordinate activities necessary to control, track, and audit changes within the network to maintain operational integrity and meet regulatory requirements Assist in creation and maintenance of operational metrics, policies, and processes Oversee Internal and External audit processes and responses (Payment Card Industry, Sarbanes Oxley, ISO, etc.) May require occasional off-hours (Nights and Weekend) support Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Program Management, Operations, or similar field 3-5 years of experience in audit response and management 1 year Cloud environment change deployment experience Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in operations management Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite ITIL certification preferred Technical proficiency with routing/switching protocols Knowledge of Salesforce Strong change and or program/project management skills and related experience Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills EchoStar and its Affiliated Companies are committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
