Maplewood Senior Living's new Inspir brand of world-class, urban senior living properties is seeking two (2) Directors of Business Development to support the sales efforts for its new Inspir | Carnegie Hill property, set to open in early 2020. Located on the Upper East Side, this 23-story, 215 unit residence will offer assisted living, enhanced care and memory care. The Director of Business Development is responsible for achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the property by attracting qualified prospects to the property (particularly those from professional outreach activity) and converting those prospects into residents.This full-time position offers a benefits package including competitive salary plus commissions, medical, dental, vision, paid time-off, voluntary Aflac insurance, a 401k plan and more.. Director of Business Development Education/Experience/Certification:. Bachelor's degree in marketing, human services, or business management preferred. Must have experience and professional contacts within the healthcare industry, in New York City. Excellent customer service and public relations skills. Minimum 5 years sales/marketing experience with a proven track record. Effective problem solving skills. Creative approach to goals and problems. Experience working with seniors. Director of Business Development Primary Responsibilities:. Own and manage the quarterly marketing and strategic plan, inclusive of professional events and targeted outreach. Serve as a key market leader and drive collaboration with world class hospitals in New York City. Enhance relationship with professional contacts within the healthcare industry. Identifies opportunities with strategic partners and new referral sources. Responsible for community outreach and education activities for creating referrals. Coordinate outreach meetings for other key staff including General Manager, Director of Clinical Services. Effectively use YARDI to maintain a high-quality outreach and sales effort - Keeping referral customer information up-to-date and using the data base to orchestrate specialized outreach efforts, including targeted mailings. Participates with General Manger and Director of Sales on development of effective sales and marketing plans drawing on information from analysis of the competitive environment. Updates key competitor evaluation and price surveys semi-annually. Must learn and follow all emergency procedures. Excellent customer service and public relations skills. Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging, and team-oriented. Displays patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful disposition. Promote Inspir in a positive manner and effectively communicate the organizations values to residents, visitors, co-workers and the community.
