In this role, the successful candidate Job Title: Associate Director, Digital Communications & Product
Reports to: Senior Director, Digital Communications
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsibility Title: Management of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Product
Responsible for the technical requirements gathering, build, and execution of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud product
Works with stakeholders across Digital Communications, Marketing, and MCIT to identify the business objectives and ensure that the product meets those objectives
Brings together teams from across the organization to collaborate on building and optimizing the product
Manages the product teams executing the technical changes, including prioritizing the backlog of features, writing user stories to guide technical development, identifying acceptance criteria for features, QAing features before approved, and managing product launches
Works closely with the analytics team to report on the metrics associated with the product and its outputs, including emails, text messages, and appointment conversions

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility Title: Management of Website Project Intake, Prioritization, and Execution Strategy
    Responsible for oversight and management of the webteam@nyumc.org ticket queue triaging, particularly for tickets assigned outside digital communications to MCIT teams, to ensure that the proper team is assigned to all website and product requests submitted from throughout the organization; responsible for working with MCIT teams to ensure that action is taken on tickets assigned
  • Responsible for project intake, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management for large-scale digital project requests, including requests for research projects, grants, programs, and new functionality
  • Works with stakeholders across the organization, as identified, to understand the editorial, technical, and business requirements for project requests
  • Brings together appropriate website and product teams from across Digital Communications and MCIT to lead the strategy for identifying a solution to each request that meets digital best practices as well as stakeholder needs
  • Works closely with product owners in MCIT to prioritize new feature requests from a Digital Communications and Marketing perspective

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a 5-7 years in product management at largescale organizations.
Background in product management required, especially content-heavy products.
Experience in communicating with senior managers, executives, and clients required.
Experience in working with Jira, Confluence, and Drupal required; Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
