I possess a BS in Accounting and am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. I have deep experience overseeing AP, AR, invoicing, financial reporting, general ledger, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, amortization, and month-end close processes in many industries. I am an expert at streamlining and improving accounting processes. I revel in the challenge of accomplishing goals where process-related challenges threaten to negatively impact an organization’s bottom line. I am also a passionate contributor, laser-focused on exceeding organization expectations. During my career, I have successfully used my advanced MS Excel skills to create analytical reports (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for key stakeholders. In addition, I have effectively supported audits while collaborating across organization channels. A few of my recent successes include: ► I managed the accounts of 5 clients simultaneously. ► I reduced the amount of time needed to complete the revenue import process from 2-3 days to 1-2 hours at Slickdeals by creating an import template using MS Excel. The template allowed the company to dump sales data into a worksheet and then import them using an import tool to Quickbooks. This new revenue import process ultimately enabled the company to improve its billing process by decreasing the number of average days to pay for AR. ► I saved Slickdeals several hours per month by creating an analysis matrix for tracking and reviewing COGS and operating expenses monthly for entry/accrual.
