Personal summary

My name is Nia. I’m a software and web developer. I have a degree in BS Computer Science (magna cum laude - 2018).
 My first job was with a semi-conductor manufacturing company as an Application Developer (2018 - 2019). I handled support work for their operations and web development with the Java Spring framework and a custom company framework called Factory Framework. During my time there, I was able to develop a Spring web application that automates the creation of connection templates for a database engine and provides application support for different operation domains.
 I previously worked as a Ruby on Rails engineer (2019 - 2020). With this role, I was able to develop web applications and back-end API for mobile applications. I developed an attendance reporting tool, an API backend for a startup mobile app in rails and a web application for a leave tracker. I've worked on about 4 RoR projects and through this, I was able to advance my skills in developing with Ruby on Rails. I practice producing clean, high-quality code, and well-tested code through Test-Driven Development.
 During my time in college, I was also freelancing as a web developer and designed and developed web applications using PHP.
 I still have a lot to learn in terms of developing apps and the whole software development process, but I am a hard worker, have a strong work ethic. I am very passionate about what I do and I love providing solutions to problems through code. Education: College/University in Computer Sciences
