Personal summary

I am from the beautiful and resilient state of Louisiana. On the morning of August 27, 2020, my husband and I were scheduled to evacuate due to Hurricane Laura. Instead, I dialed 911 and, my husband (Woody) got taken away in an ambulance. I was not permitted to accompany him because of COVID. Alone and terrified, I still had to evacuate, so my father picked me up and I left town with him. At the same time that Hurricane Laura was washing away everything that Woody and I owned, he unexpectedly died alone in our local hospital. That has only been a few weeks ago. My life as I knew it is no more. My heart is broken and I am devastated, yet I must go on as life does, therefore I am in charge of supporting myself and my fur babies, Mobey and Nugget, who also miss Woody very much. For almost my entire work life, i have interacted with customers directly every single day. Through the years of doing so, that is what became my passion. THEY became my passion. The people. The loyal customers. I wanted to be their advocate, and for that reason, their happiness and satisfaction were my number one priority, always. With empathy, i invest my heart into helping others.
