I am a community-oriented planner and communicator with a lifelong passion for public lands, environmental stewardship, and building places where people can thrive. Growing up immersed in natural spaces — from early runs through the Carleton Arboretum to quiet moments at the Fifth Falls of Gooseberry Falls State Park — shaped my commitment to conservation, accessibility, and thoughtful community development. Professionally, I served as a City Planner for the City of Janesville, where I led the creation of a comprehensive plan using clear, engaging public communication and data-driven tools. I bring strong written and interpersonal skills, resilience, compassion, and an amiable leadership style to every role. Beyond work, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast who embraces all seasons through skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, backpacking, and ice fishing. I also hold chainsaw safety certification through the Minnesota DNR and have experience coordinating facility operations in a park setting.
