Personal summary

I have over 15 years of experience in a variety of marketing and communications roles, with a specialization in content marketing, story telling, e-newsletter creation, social media, writing, proofreading and event planning. I am a dedicated, flexible and highly independent self-starter with an extreme attention to detail. I am motivated by mission and the inspiring people around me. If you'd like to learn more... I graduated with a BA from Cleveland's John Carroll University, majoring in Communications and double minoring in English and Sociology. I then went on to earn my MA in Communications Management from John Carroll through an exceptional program that combined communications and business courses. During my graduate studies I worked as a graduate assistant at John Carroll's Office of Career Management. Upon graduation, I began my career at Case Western University's Mandel Center for Nonprofit Management as the Communications and Development Specialist. I then moved positions to CWRU's Weatherhead School of Management as a Marketing Manager. After 15 years at the University, I began work on my own as a freelancer/contractor with a number of organizations including Greater Cleveland Partnership/Council of Smaller Enterprises, Sunrise Banks, Cleveland Housing Network and more.
