I have written primary research articles, reviews, editorials, book chapters, and research grants, so I have experience writing in different formats. I keep up-to-date on current research and quickly grasp new information; these skills allow me to generate customized and diverse written content. I also have experience as a freelance science editor, so I am able to effectively edit written materials for grammar, logic, clarity, and flow. I have presented posters and given talks at international conferences, so I know how to clearly present scientific information in diverse formats. I am creative and enjoy developing unique and straightforward ways to communicate complex topics, so I excel in working with a range of communication channels. I also have experience in science education, and was a co-instructor of a research methods course at a major university. Together, these experiences allowed me to develop a solid understand of how to produce clear and informative content to effectively promote scientific findings. I believe that the most important role of a scientist is to clearly and accurately communicate information in a way that is accessible to all readers. Because many of my publications are targeted to a general audience, I have developed excellent skills in clear and accurate scientific communication. I would love to have the opportunity to contribute my science writing, communication, and editing skills to a range of clients. Education: PHD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences
